Local trio named All-Stars

A trio of local high school baseball players will have a tough decision to make at the end of this month after being named as players for the 5A Division II All-Star game at a state meeting on Monday.
San Luis' Heriberto Ron and Kofa's Anthony Ortiz and Mark Wright were all named to the south team, which will be coached by the Sidewinders' Cesar Castillo.
The game in Surprise, however, is scheduled for May 30 - the same day the players are expected to be handed their diplomas during graduation.
