Returning State Qualifiers: Manuel Cerda (800), Gina Montague (discus, shot put)

Key additions: Anthony Daniels, who began his high school days as a Warrior, transferred back after a year at Cibola and will be a top thrower.

Player to watch: Montague, who posted two top-5s at state last year, is splitting time between her field events and the softball team

San Pasqual coach Don Klostreich's comments: "We don't have a lot of runners, but there's six or seven girls that are going to be great at shot put.

We'll put together as many relays as we can and see what happens."

The lowdown: The Warriors will have a tough time finding points at any event on the track, but the practice line waiting to throw shut puts is long and strong.
