Antelope girls in, boys out of playoffs

Both the Antelope boys and girls lost 5-4 at Estrella Foothills on Thursday, with the girls losing a home playoff game because of the lost and the boys missing out on the playoffs altogether.

 Diana Bravo (6-3, 6-4 at No. 1) and Andie Guerrero (6-0, 6-1 at No. 6) had singles win and teamed for a 10-7 win at No. 1 doubles. Briahna Preston and Diana de la Cruz won 10-8 at No. 2 as the girls finished 7-2 and will start the playoffs on the road May 12.

 For the boys, No. 2 Sergio Perez won 6-0, 6-1 and No. 6 Alexis Hernandez won 6-4, 2-6, 7-4 at No. 6. Perez and Hernandez teamed for a 10-5 win at No. 2, with Charlie Filerio and Jose Montoya winning 10-5 at No. 3.
