Last week: Gila Ridge lost 49-13 to Kofa. Lake Havasu lost 35-14 to Cibola

Records: Hawks (2-6 overall, 1-2 region); Knights (4-5, 1-3)

Players to watch: RB Kelvin Harold broke off a 60-yard touchdown run last week for the Hawks. ... Havasu QB Doug Greene has thrown for 644 yards and run for 880 more and has 18 touchdowns this year.

Gila Ridge coach Jay Denton's comments: "The key to their offense is their quarterback. He leads the ground game and is a dangerous passer. We need to shut him down to a normal game and we'll be able to stay in the game with them. He's kind of the key to the whole offense. I believe we can contain him inside and keep everything out of the perimeters."

The lowdown: Gila Ridge's only wins this year have come against winless San Luis. ... It's the last region game for the Knights, who close the year against rival Kingman.
