Doubles sweep not enough for Gila Ridge

Gila Ridge lost 5-4 on the road to Lake Havasu in a non-region match Tuesday.

Charlie Fiddler won 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) at No. 1 to earn the lone singles point for the Hawks, who finish the regular season 2-10 and 1-4 in the Gila Valley Region.

Gila Ridge swept the doubles as Fiddler and Jesse Aguirre won 8-4 at No. 1 followed by an 8-1 at No. 2 by Dylan Freeman and Oliver Walters and an 8-5 win at No. 3 from Brandon Murrietta and Jovan Figueroa.
