The first boys tennis meeting between Cibola and Yuma was decided in singles, this time around it came down to doubles. The Raiders swept the doubles to secure a 6-3 Gila Valley Region victory on Monday.

 Albert Castro and Alex Rodriguez won 8-1 at first doubles. Louis Franco and Coby Teal won 8-5 at No. 2 and Blake Boyer and Kyle Duran won 8-4 at No. 3 for the Raiders.

 Cibola (5-4 AIA, 3-1 Gila Valley) and Yuma High (2-6, 1-2) split the singles.

 Castro came out on top 6-3, 6-0 as did teammates Rodriguez 6-4, 6-2 and Boyer 5-7, 6-3, 10-8.

 Winning in singles for Yuma High were Taylor Franklin 7-5, 6-3, Franklin Salhoff 6-4, 7-5 (14-12) and Kitaro Jashimoto 7-5, 6-0.
