Norton, Gonzalez lift Cibola

Cibola's Lety Gonzalez and Ryan Norton won the girls and boys races to help the Raiders win both competitions in a three-way meet that included San Luis and Gila Ridge.

Gonzalez finished in 24:56 and Norton in 18:30.

The Cibola girls had the top four finishers to finish with 22 points. Gila Ridge was second with 36, and San Luis did not field a full girls team.

Michelle Soto took second at 25:02, Chelsea Madsen in third at 25:14, Zuzy Gonzalez took fourth at 25:17 and Cejae Palmer took 12th at 28:24.

On the boys side, Jose Ramirez took third for the Raiders at 19:07, Marco Orduno in fifth at 20:03, Alan Fernandez took sixth at 20:16 and Adam Martinez finished seventh at 20:29.
