Kofa boys crush Sunrise Mountain
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Kofa boys soccer team got multiple goals from three players and cruised to an 8-0 victory over Peoria-Sunrise Mountain on Tuesday at home in its season opener.
Sergio Lemus scored three goals an assisted on anothert, Erik Juaragui added two goals and two assists, while Jose Medina added two goals and an assist.
"We penetrated really well up top. We're passing the ball and moving the ball really well," Kofa coach Jamie Nicewander said. "We had a lot of fan support. I've never seen anything like it."
Henry Diaz added a goal, with an assist from TJ Nichols. Manny Regalado and Angel Figueroa also had an assist.
