Yuma boys edge Cibola

The Criminal boys edged Cibola 28 to 31 in a three-way cross country meet that also icluded Gila Ridge Wednesday at West Wetlands.
Cibola easily won the girls race, with Gila Ridge taking second.
Gabe Torregrosa finished in first place at 16 minutes, 55 seconds, as the Criminals held three of the top four places. Cesar Villegas placed second (16:59), and Santos Castro finished fourth at 17:23.
Jose Ramirez paced Cibola, which was without top runner Ryan Norton who was recovering from illness, with a third-place finish. Aan Fernandez took fifth and mario Orduno sixth for the Raiders.
Josh Segura led Gila Ridge with a seventh-place finish.
Gila Ridge's Alissa Segura won the girls race in 21:46. Cibola's Lety Gonzalez finished in second (22:11). Lauren Mohamed led Yuma, coming in sixth.
