Returning starters: Kailah Durand, sr., C; Gina Rivera, soph., F

Key newcomers: Apple Casteneda, soph., PG; Dominique Rueda, soph., SG; Lizabeth Ramirez, sr., G/F

Player to watch: Rivera is not only an offensive threat, but is also a top rebounding threat.

San Pasqual coach Patricia Malvido's comments: "We're going to have to get a lot of work out of our sophomores. We've been doing a lot of teaching. A lot of teaching. We're going to get it together I just wish we were a little further ahead.

The lowdown: The Warriors will try to grind out games, slowing things down whenever they can using a sophomore-heavy lineup.
