YC pulls away from Lutheran in fourth quarter

Yuma Catholic pulled away from Phoenix-Arizona Lutheran in the final quarter of Friday night's 35-21 victory to remain unbeaten on the season and in 2A West Region play.

The Shamrocks (6-0, 3-0 2A West) and Coyotes (2-3) were tied at 21 entering the final quarter. Running back Austin Rodriguez put the game out of reach with a touchdown run in the fourth quarter, his second of the game. The game was tied at 7 after one quarter and at 14 at the half.

YC senior quarterback Matt Inman threw for a score and ran for another in the road win.
