The Antelope volleyball team knocked Phoenix Christian out of the 2A West Region title chase by sweeping the Cougars 33-31, 25-21 and 25-22.

Mieke Canan had 13 kills and six blocks. Rocio Lopez had eight kills, 17 digs and three aces. Andie Guerrero added 27 digs, and setter Lynnsey Herndon had 27 assists and seven digs.

"It was a total team effort. Everybody played well," Antelope coach Anna Delgado said. "We played with so much intensity. Phoenix Christian to me is the most talented, but I think they came in a little confident...Our fans have been so awesome. They've helped us out all year."
