YC girls cross country fifth at state

The Yuma Catholic girls cross country team placed fifth at the state meet Saturday.

Samantha Barczynski placed 33rd at 23:34, Devon Graham 41st at 24:09, Sarah Wentling took 47th at 24:48, Jaclyn Hill in 49th in 24:55 and Rachel Harmon placed 50th at 24:57.

"We ran our best team race today," YC coach Ralph Farr said. "We came in fifth last year and we were a lot deeper last year. I wasn't disappointed."
