Yuma qualifies two at Chandler

Yuma's Steven Rojano and Gabe Torregrosa qualified for state at the Chandler Rotary Classic Friday.

Rojano qualified in the long jump and the high jump. He set a personal best and won the open division event at long jump with a leap of 21 feet 2 inches. He cleared 6'2 with his high jump.

Torregrosa finished third in the 3,200-meter run and qualified with a personal best time of 9:59.

The Criminals next meet is set for April 8 against Gila Ridge and San Luis at Carver Park.
